Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket or attending our events you agree to the following terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update our terms and conditions at any time, effective immediately upon posting on our website. Specific events may have additional conditions shown on the event page or ticket listing, which also apply.

  1. In these Terms & Conditions (the "Conditions"): "Event" means the event for which you have purchased a ticket. "The Promoter", "we", "us" and "our" means Proper Leisure Limited (06647471) trading as "South West Festivals" and any associated promoter(s) of the Event. "You" and "your" means you as the ticket holder.

  2. Your purchase of a valid ticket and entry into the Event constitutes your acceptance of all of the Conditions below.

  3. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the Event takes place as advertised, the Promoter reserves the right to change the published line-up and/or running times without notification. This includes, but is not limited to, artists and billed attractions. Tickets are for the Event and not a specific artist.

  4. Tickets are personal, revocable licences and shall at all times remain our property and subject to these Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry at its discretion. Guests who cause a disturbance to others or fail to follow the instructions of event staff may be removed from the Event without refund.

  5. When you receive your ticket, please check it carefully as mistakes cannot always be rectified. Any mistakes should be reported to info@swfestivals.co.uk as soon as possible.

  6. The Promoter will not issue duplicate tickets for lost or stolen tickets. Please keep your ticket safe.

  7. Tickets purchased from sources other than our official ticketing partners are at your own risk and may be invalid. Beware of forgeries.

  8. A ticket will be invalidated if any part of it is removed, altered or defaced in any way.

  9. Tickets cannot be used as part of any marketing, media or sales promotion, commercial or non-commercial, without the prior written consent of the Promoter.

  10. Tickets can be printed or shown on a mobile phone for scanning at the Event entrance using the FIXR or Ticket Tailor app.

  11. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged unless the Event is cancelled, postponed or there is a material change to the Event. If a discount code is offered as part of a promotion and the code is not entered at checkout, a refund will not be permitted. A "material" change is a change which, in our opinion, makes the Event materially different to the event that a ticket purchaser could reasonably expect. A change to the artists performing shall not be a material change. Refunds should be obtained from the point of purchase.

  12. The Promoter will not be liable to you for failure to perform any of our obligations to the extent that the failure is caused by force majeure, including severe weather.

  13. In the case of cancellation or postponement, personal arrangements including, but not limited to, travel, subsistence and accommodation relating to the Event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk, and the Promoter shall not be liable for any losses or wasted expenditure.

  14. The Promoter is unable to accept any liability for personal damage, loss or injury sustained at the Event, except where caused by our negligence. Any personal property brought to the Event is at your own risk.

  15. All attendees require a valid ticket and/or wristband to gain entry. Wristbands must be worn at all times and will allow access to the areas that match your ticket.

  16. Age restrictions for each Event are shown on the event page and ticket listing. Where under 18s are permitted, they must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Proof of age may be required for entry.

  17. Where alcohol is sold the Event will operate a Challenge 25 policy. Anyone wishing to buy alcohol must be 18 or over on the day of the Event. Please bring approved ID regardless of your age, as anyone who cannot prove their age when asked will not be served.

  18. Approved ID is a valid and in-date: UK photocard driving licence; passport (photocopies and out-of-date passports are not accepted); PASS-accredited proof of age card; or military ID showing date of birth. It is a criminal offence to use false or borrowed ID to gain entry to licensed premises or to buy alcohol.

  19. Anyone deemed to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs may be refused entry or removed from the Event.

  20. Security measures, including but not limited to bag searches, may be in operation at all Events.

  21. No food or drink may be brought into the Event except for those with special medical or dietary needs.

  22. The Promoter may confiscate (i) any of the banned items listed below and (ii) any other items the Promoter considers may be used as weapons or are otherwise dangerous or inappropriate. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to confiscated items. Banned items: alcohol, illegal substances, psychoactive substances, nitrous oxide, glass items (except small perfume bottles), knives or weapons, gas canisters, flares, fireworks, smoke canisters, laser pens, BBQs, megaphones or sound equipment, drones, gazebos, poles, large flags or banners, and animals (except assistance dogs).

  23. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, anyone behaving in a way that is likely to affect the safety or enjoyment of others. What counts as inappropriate behaviour is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. You must follow any instructions given by Event stewards, security or management.

  24. There is no re-admission once you leave the Event unless a pass-out is issued at the discretion of the Promoter or venue.

  25. The Promoter reserves the right to put in place any restrictions or conditions needed before or during the Event to ensure the safe management of the site.

  26. Last entry times, where they apply, are shown on the event page or ticket.

  27. By entering the Event you consent to being photographed, filmed or sound recorded as part of the audience, and to your likeness being included in any recording of the Event used in any media for any purpose, worldwide.

  28. No professional cameras, video cameras or audio recording equipment without the prior written consent of the Promoter.

  29. In no circumstances shall the Promoter's liability exceed the face value of the ticket purchased.

  30. Booking fees may apply and are shown at checkout. Booking fees are non-refundable except where the Event is cancelled.

  31. Accessibility: if you have access requirements, please contact info@swfestivals.co.uk before the Event and we will do our best to help.

  32. The Promoter reserves the right to alter these Conditions from time to time and will publish updates on this page.

  33. These Conditions are governed by English law and any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
